Sugar poses a serious risk to human health and has been contributing to 35 million deaths globally every single year, says a report by researchers at University of California in the journal Nature.
Not to mention that sugar kills more people than all the drugs combined, but it’s regulated and considered safe by the junk food industry and regulatory agencies. Sugar should be considered as toxic as tobacco and alcohol.
According to a study in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, postmenopausal women who consume sugar-sweetened beverages are more likely to develop endometrial cancer than those who didn’t. The study points out that high sugar intake can increase the risk of endometrial cancer by 78%. (Source: Organic Live Food)
Sugar also destroys health in many other ways.
