TRADITIONAL OR MODERN SOLUTION?

Fennel seeds are used traditionally as a breath freshener and digestive aid. They are given out in some Indian restaurants to be chewed after meals.

They are also used to flavour meats and sweets in Indian and also Malay cooking. Also called jintan manis in Bahasa Malaysia.

Fennel is one of the most effective home remedies in battling bad breath. It has a high concentration of anti-microbes which help eliminate the odour-causing bacteria in the mouth. In addition to this, Fennel also helps solve digestion problems, one of the causes of bad breath. Its distinct aromatic smell makes this a great breath freshener.

Can be chewed, or drunk throughout the day by putting a small teaspoon of it in hot water and refilled continuously.

Try it. Works wonders. Safe and edible, unlike modern mouthwashes which are commercialised, expensive and not edible.
