WORST INVENTION?

We all clamour for our dream car? A dream turning into a nightmare. Planners and traffic engineers plan our cities to the needs of the private cars. Roads, highways, carparks… their needs become public and subsidised while people cannot house themselves. We are subsidising the rich.

We are willing to breathe in the fumes as the cars become the main source of pollution in our cities. The cars play foul and we are OK with it.

We accept that they kill and call them accidents when they are not. They are made to kill. We are willing even to commit suicide with it. Whole families.

There are lots more reasons why the car is the worst invention… but we have been sold the car dream and are accept the “realities” that are built into the invention.
