The earth gives us its greatest treasure: clean air, fresh water, abundant life, and endless beauty. These gifts shared with us – every day, year after year – sustain us, inspire us, and remind us of our place in nature.
Forests give us the air we breathe, the shade we seek, and a home for countless creatures.
The ocean gives us the fish we eat, the oxygen we need, natural barriers like reefs and mangroves that shield our shores from storm surges.
Soil gives us the crops we harvest, the forests we rely on, and the foundation of life itself.
Rivers give us clean water to drink, fertile lands to farm, and energy to power our lives.
Mountains give us the rivers that nourish valleys, sanctuaries for wildlife, and fresh, crisp air.
Ice and glaciers give us freshwater reserves, regulate our climate, and shape the landscape we cherish.
Wetlands give us clean water, flood protection, and safe havens for birds and wildlife.
Let’s honour Mother Earth by protecting what it gives so freely. A gift we all share. A gift we can all restore.
