NATURE’S WORK OF ART

In 2021 a storm in Bridgend, Wales blasted grass so hard it weaved perfectly around a 130-metres long fence, creating what was dubbed a “waffle fence”. Tonnes of molinia – a type of moor grass – wrapped every blade around the entire fence, creating a handwoven and knitted look.

This fence has been described as Mother Nature’s masterpiece.
