SPEED UP LEAD PAINT PHASE-OUT
In 2021, the global use of lead in petrol officially came to an end. The phasing out of lead from fuel saves an estimated 1.2 million lives a year. (UNEP) Unfortunately, the phase-out of lead-containing paints lags behind. Just like leaded fuel bans have prevented millions of deaths, phasing out lead-containing paints can help save millions more lives.
