Troubling Toxics

Many chemicals released throughout the plastics life cycle are hazardous and have been shown to pose threats to human health and the environment, and most of these chemicals are not regulated internationally. How can countries create a Plastics Treaty that protects their people’s health?

Check out IPEN’s Troubling Toxics brief outlining approaches to establish criteria for a negative list of chemicals to eliminate from plastics.
