Happiness is a choice, and habit we choose to make every day. Good habits breed happiness. And the happiest people make happiness a habit.
There are 2 types of happiness: transient happiness (that exciting burst of pleasure that flares up but fades quickly – eg: from holidays or gifts) and sustainable happiness (the kind of daily happiness that’s long-lasting and enduring, built on your identity, relationships, self-esteem, or unique talents).

Having a positive outlook on life contributes to long-term happiness and well-being. This involves challenging negative thoughts, which can be achieved by developing a mindset to face challenges and find fulfillment.
Get rid of wasteful, unproductive and energy-sapping habits (eg: empty gossip, comparing yourself with others, wasting time, and staying in a rut).
Make room for positive habits in your daily life (eg: practising gratitude, cultivating quality friendships, and acts of service).
