Open Letter to UN-HABITAT: Promote Zero Waste, Not Waste Burning!

GAIA and over 100 civil society groups across five continents (including Consumers’ Association of Penang and Sahabat Alam Malaysia) are calling on UN-HABITAT to stop promoting “waste-to-energy” incineration—a harmful, outdated, and unjust approach to waste management.
